The competition will be conducted on the fics.gazi.edu.tr website.
Applications for the competition will start with the announcement of the competition and will end with the application deadline. Participation in the competition will not be accepted after the application deadlines.
The application form must be uploaded to fics.gazi.edu.tr until 15.03.2023, 23:59, the deadline for participation in the competition. The documents to be used for the application can be downloaded from the competition website.
After the participants fill out the application form and make their applications; they will prepare a presentation according to the "MS PowerPoint" template presented to them on the website.
Competitors who are entitled to submit their ideas will be announced after the preliminary evaluation. They will present their ideas through the MS PowerPoint presentation they prepared on the day of the competition, in front of a jury composed of Gazi University and NUST faculty members at Gazi University Mimar Kemaleddin Hall.
The winners will be entitled to present their ideas at the International Final Competition to be held in Pakistan in May on the platform of international juries and investors. The transportation/accommodation expenses of the team that came 1st in "Ideas Compete", the event of FICS in Turkey, will be covered by Pakistan National University of Science and Technology.
The winning team in the international final to be held in Pakistan will receive a $ 5,000 prize.
Rules to be Followed by Competitors
It is obligatory for the competitors or teams of all idea projects to participate in the competition to submit an application no later than the day specified.
It is forbidden to have any phrases or signs that introduce the project owner in idea projects. If there is a sign indicating the owner of the work anywhere in the project or the report or if one of the documents requested by the administration and uploaded to the address is missing, the project is excluded from the competition, provided that it is recorded in the minutes by the decision of the jury.
Uploading idea projects to the site is a condition of participation, competitors who do not upload will be eliminated.
The project participating in the competition is required to have participated in "TEKNOFEST" before. If the contrary is determined and this determination is approved by the qualified majority of the jury members, the project is excluded from the competition. If the project won an award from the competition, the entire award is returned to the organization of the competition.
The rules and conditions of the competition apply to each participant and each team member.
Projects that do not comply with the above-mentioned issues will be recorded with the decision of the selection committee and will be excluded from the competition.
